On the 1st September 2017 my sister and I lost our lovely Mum to lung cancer.  Mum was a non-smoker and unfortunately her cancer was at an advanced stage at the time of her diagnosis. She faced her illness with bravery and determination and will be lovingly remembered by her family and many friends. Mum lived her life to the full and had a wicked sense of humour. 

In memory of our amazing Mum I'll be running the Great North Run on the 9th September 2018 for the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation. 

I'd be grateful for any donations in memory of Mum and for such a fantastic charity dedicated to fighting this horrible disease.
